What happens in an initial appointment?

Your initial speech pathology appointment will include a comprehensive case history discussion, initial goal setting discussion, an informal and/or formal assessment(s) and a communication observation through play or conversation. These will be completed across multiple sessions if required. It is not necessary for you to prepare anything for the appointment. The speech pathologist will discuss over the phone if there is anything required from you.

Where do appointments take place?

Let's Blossom is a mobile-only speech pathology service. Your appointments will take place in a location that is most comfortable for the client and their support system. This may include your home, daycare, school or local park!

How long are appointments?

Appointment length varies depending on what is most suitable for the client. Appointments may be a minimum of 30 minutes up to 60 minutes.

Initial appointments may be scheduled for up to 90 minutes.

Please note, the clinician will include some administration time within your booking.

Fee schedule:

NDIS appointment costs align with the most recent NDIS price guide:

• Initial appointment and ongoing appointments: $193.99/hour. Please note this includes face to face time and non-face-to-face tasks. This will discussed when booking your appointments.

• Report writing: $193.99/hour.

• Travel: $193.99/hour. Maximum of 30 minutes payable in MM1-3 areas and up to 60 minutes in MM4-5 areas. Please contact us to confirm your suburb’s travel fees.

Private fees:

• 60-minute appointment: $193.99

• 45-minute appointment: $145.50

• 30-minute appointment: $96.99

• Report writing: $193.99/hour
